The 12 Universal Laws Every Mom Needs to Know

Life as a woman can feel like one big balancing act, can’t it? And when you add motherhood to the mix — the chaos can get real! Some days it feels like you’re just trying to keep your head above water, juggling all the things, hoping for just a sliver of calm in the middle of the storm.

But here’s what I’ve learned: it’s okay to embrace the mess sometimes. Life isn’t meant to be perfectly polished. Still, if we let the chaos linger too long, it can quietly take a toll on our peace, our well-being, and even how we show up for the people we love.

That’s why I’ve become so passionate about sharing what’s worked (and what hasn’t) on my own journey — especially with other moms who, like me, are trying to find that sweet spot between caring for their families and not losing themselves in the process.

One of the most powerful shifts for me has been learning about the Universal Laws — specifically 12 of them — and how they apply not just to personal growth, but to motherhood, home life, and even how I handle stress and finances.

Universal laws, much like gravity, apply to everyone regardless of religion, gender, socioeconomic status, political party, education, race, or any other factor that try to divide us.

So let me ask you: what if understanding these simple but powerful principles could help you bring more flow, structure, and even abundance into your life and your household?

I’m excited to walk you through how these laws have made a difference for me — and how they just might bring a little more peace and fulfillment into your world too

1. The Law of Divine Oneness

"Everything and everyone are connected."

Think of this law like the invisible thread that links all of us — and as moms, that thread runs strong through our homes and families. Words, thoughts, and emotions not only just stay in our heads; but create the whole atmosphere our children live in. What we feel and put out there literally shapes their world and how they experience life.

When you really feel this truth, it changes everything. What if your moods, your stress, even your self-talk has the power to ripple out and impact your family — sometimes in ways you might not even notice? How much more intentional would you be in protecting your energy and how you exchange it with others? When you tune into this connection, you gain the power to bring more peace, love, and calm into your home just by shifting your own vibe.

How this plays out for moms: If you’re dragging stress from work or life into your home, it’s like carrying a backpack full of bricks that everyone else has to carry too. Your kids pick up on it — maybe they get anxious, act out, become distant, or just feel off without you even saying a word.

Here’s the real deal: learn to shake off that stress from your day before you enter your home — whether it’s work drama and politics or just adulting in these streets — before you step through your front door. Create a little vibe-reset ritual: maybe take a few deep breaths in the car, throw on a playlist that lifts your mood, or take a quick mindful moment to get your energy right.

Be intentional with your energy. Speak kindly to yourself and those around you. Your words and actions are the seeds you plant in your home’s garden — so plant love, patience, kindness and wisdom. And don’t be afraid to protect your space by keeping your boundaries strong, your circle small and your front door smaller. Because when your energy flows good, everything else just feels a little easier.

2. The Law of Vibration

"Everything carries a frequency, and similar vibrations attract each other."

You know those days when everything just feels like pure chaos — the kids are seriously testing your gangsta (especially the youngest one), the house looks like a tornado hit it, realized it forgot something, and came back for round two, and work is basically a gun shop — full of triggers? Nothing seems to go right, and it’s like the universe is just not vibing with you. Nine times out of ten, it’s because your vibe is low-key stuck in stress mode. The good news? You actually have the power to change that energy whenever you want!

Everything around you — your thoughts, feelings, and even your home — vibrates at a certain frequency. High vibes (like love, gratitude, and joy) pull in more positivity, while low vibes (like stress, frustration, and doubt) tend to drag you down and stir up more chaos. As a mom, your energy sets the whole mood for your household, so when you raise your vibe, you’re not just doing yourself a favor — you’re creating a calmer, happier space for your kids too.

What this means for you as a mom: Ever notice how a messy house or cluttered desk can make you feel anxious? Or how blasting your favorite song instantly lifts your mood? That’s vibration doing its thing. Motherhood can get chaotic, but when you make small, intentional moves to raise your vibe, you’ll see it ripple out — your day flows smoother, your kids act better, and the whole house just feels lighter.

Try this: Keep your environment clean and cozy, decorate your space with pops of color, or incorporate pops of colors in what you eat. (Check out this recipe for a suggestion) and wear clothes that make you feel good. Play upbeat, empowering music, invest in expensive perfume, and surround yourself with people and things that inspire you. High vibes only!

3. The Law of Correspondence

"As above, so below. As within, so without."

Ever feel like life’s just a little too much — bills piling up, money feeling tight, and relationships getting tense? It’s like everything around you is just... off. The truth is, that chaos outside is usually a mirror of what’s going on inside. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or stressed, chances are it’s showing up in your surroundings too. Your outer world sometime can reflect your inner world.

When your mind is cluttered with worry or exhaustion, it spills over into your daily life — the mess in your house, the tension with your kids, the lack of flow in your routine. But when you work on creating peace and balance within yourself, you’ll start to see that same energy showing up in your home, your relationships, and your overall well-being.

What this means for you as a mom: If everything feels chaotic, take a breath and check in with yourself. Are you feeling mentally scattered, emotionally drained, or just plain tired? Start by giving yourself what you need — maybe that’s rest, support, or a little bit of joy. Once you focus on realigning your energy, your outer world will naturally start to reflect that same calm and clarity.

Try this: Set up simple, structured routines for yourself and your kids. When you create order in your life — even in small ways — it naturally shows up in how you move through your day. Structure brings peace, and peace brings balance.

4. The Law of Attraction

"Like attracts like—what you focus on expands."

Real talk: If you’re constantly stuck on how tired, stressed, or broke you feel, guess what? You’ll keep attracting more of that same vibe. But if you flip the script and start focusing on gratitude, abundance, and possibilities, you’re basically giving the universe the green light to send more good stuff your way. It’s like a magnet — what you focus on expands. If your mind’s all wrapped up in struggle, that’s what you’ll keep getting. But when you switch it up and focus on solutions, joy, and the life you actually want, you make room for more positivity and ease to flow in.

What this means for you as a mom: If your inner dialogue sounds like, “I’ll never get ahead financially,” then your actions will probably line up with that belief. Instead, try saying, “Money flows to me easily, and I manage it wisely.” But let’s be real — it’s not just about thinking positive. You’ve got to feel it, believe it, and embody it. I call this “faith it ’til you make it.” Start showing up like the mom who deserves peace, prosperity, and joy, and watch how life starts shifting in your favor.

Speak affirmations over your life,. Pray! write down your goals, and surround yourself with people who lift you up. Set the tone for the day with declarations and commandments that remind you of your worth, goals and your vision.

5. The Law of Inspired Action

"Manifestation requires movement."

You can’t just wish for a better life—you have to take action to create it! This law is a reminder that intention is powerful, but aligned action is what makes things happen.

Thinking about a peaceful home isn’t enough—set up a daily routine that brings more ease. Wishing for financial freedom won’t cut it—start that side hustle, budget smarter, and make small investments towards your future. Manifestation isn’t just about positive thinking; it’s about moving in the direction of your desires.

How may this affect you as a mom: Want a peaceful home? Set a structure. Want financial stability? Start budgeting and learning about financial literacy. Want a deeper bond with your children, spend more quality time with them. Every small step you take aligns you with the energy of what you want. So, show up, take action, and watch your visions become reality!

Identify one small step you can take today towards a goal. Even if it’s just researching something, investing in a planner, or creating a simple morning routine. Remember every action, no matter how small moves you forward.

6. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy

"Energy is always moving—use it to your advantage."

This law reminds us that higher vibrations can shift lower ones—meaning even one small positive action can turn your whole day around. Feeling overwhelmed or stuck? Take a deep breath, put on your favorite music, or do something that brings you joy. A single shift in energy can create a ripple effect throughout your home and family. Your mood, your mindset, and your actions have the power to transform any challenging moment into a better one.

How this may affect you as a mom: If your day starts off chaotic, you can still reset by pausing, breathing, and shifting your mindset. Remember, you don’t have to fix everything at once—just start with one positive shift and watch the energy around you begin to change.

When tension builds in your household or at work, take a break, play relaxing music, or go for a walk to refresh your energy. You may even be inspired to create a 'high vibe' playlist that you can listen to when you feel your energy getting low. Here's one I created on Spotify - you can use it if you want! That first song - woo!! Self-loving on me playlist

7. The Law of Cause and Effect

"Every action creates a reaction."

Every choice you make today shapes your tomorrow. Nothing happens by chance—your energy, actions, and decisions all create ripples that come back to you. Think of life like a boomerang—what you put out, you’ll receive in return. Whether it’s the way you speak to your kids, to yourself, the habits you build, or the mindset you carry, it all adds up. Even the smallest decisions can have a lasting impact, so choose wisely, move with intention, and watch how your life shifts for the better

How this may affect you as a mom: The habits you instill in your children, and yourself, the way you handle money, and the effort you put into self-care all can shape your future.

Take responsibility for your actions. If something isn’t working in your life, ask yourself what small changes you can make today. And then commit to it! You can always rewrite your story.

8. The Law of Compensation

"You reap what you sow; The universe rewards effort, even if it’s not immediate."

Every effort you make, every sacrifice, and every act of love will come back to bless you. This law is a reminder that nothing you do goes unnoticed by the universe.

All the patience, late nights, and hard-earned lessons will be rewarded—maybe not instantly, but always in divine timing. Your kindness, resilience, and generosity will return to you in unexpected ways, proving that the energy you put out always finds its way back. Keep going, keep believing, and trust that your work will bear fruit.

How this may affect you as a mom: Whether it’s in parenting, finances, or personal growth, every seed you plant today will bear fruit in time.

You can uproot the weeds planted in your spiritual garden and begin to plant good seeds instead. Be patient with your progress. Keep showing up, and trust that the rewards will come.

9. The Law of Relativity

"Your problems are only as big as you make them."

Perspective is everything. When life feels overwhelming, remember—you’re not alone. Others have faced similar struggles and overcome them, and so can you. Nothing is inherently good or bad—it’s all about how you choose to see it. That challenge you’re facing. It might just be the thing that makes you stronger. Hard times feel tough in the moment, but when you shift your perspective, you’ll see them as stepping stones, not roadblocks.

How this may affect you as a mom: If something feels overwhelming, compare it to a past challenge you’ve already overcome. Seek out others who have been through similar challenges and have overcome them. Your mindset shapes your experience, so choose to see challenges as opportunities for growth

Practice gratitude and remind yourself that tough seasons don’t last forever. Seek out individuals who have overcome the challenge, barrier or setback you're currently experiencing now as a reminder and inspiration.

10. The Law of Polarity

"There are always two sides—darkness and light, challenge and growth; Opposites exists for balance."

Ever notice how the tough times make you appreciate the good even more? That’s the Law of Polarity in action! You can’t have joy without sadness, success without setbacks, or growth without challenges. Every struggle you face is shaping you, making you stronger, and leading you to breakthroughs you never imagined.

How this may affect you as a mom: Instead of resisting challenges, embrace them as opportunities to grow. Even the hardest moments carry valuable lessons—and when you embrace them, you’ll see how they’re guiding you toward something greater.

When life feels tough, ask: “What is this teaching me?”

11. The Law of Rhythm

"Life moves in cycles—trust the process."

every season in life has a purpose. If you’re in a slower season right now, honor it, rather than pushing for progress. Some days will be filled with high energy, and others will feel slower. Some seasons are meant for building, while others are for resting and recharging. Just like the changing seasons, your emotions, circumstances, and energy levels will ebb and flow. There are moments for growth, and there are moments for rest. Embrace where you are, knowing each season serves you in its own way.

How this may affect you as a mom: If you feel unmotivated, it might be a sign to rest, reflect, and reset. don’t worry about how others perceive your season of rest. You’re not being lazy—you’re transitioning from surviving to thriving. Spirit knows exactly what she’s doing, and this time of rest is preparing you for the abundance and growth ahead. Trust the process and honor where you are.

Allow yourself grace. Trust that a new season of energy and action will come.

12. The Law of Gender

"Balance action with intuition."

This law teaches us to balance our masculine energy (logic, hustle, structure) with our feminine energy (intuition, creativity, rest). This law isn’t about male vs. female—it’s about balancing your go-getter side (hustle, logic, action) with your nurturing side (intuition, creativity, rest)

How this may affect you as a mom: When you run your household with too much masculine energy, it can lead to strict routines with little emotional nurturing. On the flip side, too much feminine energy might result in a lack of structure and being overly emotional. Balance is key. If you’re always on the go, be sure to schedule some downtime to recharge. If you’re feeling stuck, take bold, intentional action to move forward. Find your harmony between structure and nurture to create a peaceful, thriving home.

*Balance is key!

The 12 Universal Laws aren’t just theories—they’re tools to help you live a more peaceful, balanced, and fulfilling life. By applying them, you’ll begin to see positive shifts in your mindset, home, finances, and personal growth.

You deserve peace.

You deserve abundance.

You deserve joy.
